I'm holding a class Tuesday to make thank you cards. We're making 5 each of the 2 designs shown here. Look on my calendar page for all the details. Come join in the fun!
My granddaughter, Jennifer, left last week for Basic Military Training in San Antonio, Texas. She'll be there for 8 1/2 weeks. I've been really focused lately on missing her and wondering how she's doing. We have a special connection and I've been wanting her to know that I'm thinking of her. So, I decided to make cards, LOTS OF CARDS, to send to her every day. Here are some samples of my creations for her. I hope they lift her spirits in what I know is an intense and changing time in her life. I love you Jen!!!
I made these place cards (3x3) from materials sent to me by Patsy Waggoner. I won them in one of her contests. The pheasants were colored with SU markers and then stamped. A bit of a tedious process but worth the time. I typed the names in a Word document and then printed it on riding hood red cardstock. They were punched with the modern label punch and attached with tiny gold brads. How cute! Not a heart on them but a neat project.
